How many more Ghulums?

I wonder how many more Ghulams we will hear about before anything changes. I think his story is typical of many immigrants. But not only immigrants: Canadian educated children of immigrants, and those who came at a young age.

In a way I am hoping the trickle down south turns into a larger migration. I think the U.S. deserves skilled international talent more than Canada any day.

It's a more productive economy. Has better scientific, research and high technology institutions; and most of all, the level of acceptance is better.

Hello all. Great site! Thank you all for showing the rest of the world what the REAL Canada is like. I'm glad there are many people who are just now starting to spill out the truth so that no other person(s) have to go through what we (immigrants) go through each and everyday here.

I've been in this country since I was a kid, raised and educated here but it's irrelevant. The whole "Canadian Experience" thing is just to cover up the blatant racism that exists in this cold and miserable country.

If you're not white you're basically a slave. I've been making the effort to move to the US as well and I hope my time comes soon. One again, thanks to all. I appreciate your work.

Hi.

There are about 75,000 people who move out of this country each year. I have lived here for nearly 16 years now and I see new arrivals all the time while old ones slowly disappear. It's the reason why the population of this country remained around 30 million for nearly 20 years despite the enormous number of immigrants who are allowed in each year.

I know countless number of people who have left with nothing after coming with here with much ambition, talent, money, etc.

It indicates why these sites (such as this one) are very important to show the world that the Canadian govt lies to people and robs them!

Last year there was a decrease in the number of people who have applied for immigration to Canada by about 9,000 and you've all probably heard of the calls from the Canadian govt through the media about the need for 10,000 new immigrant doctors. WHAT ABOUT THE OVER 10,000 IMMIGRANT DOCTORS WHO ARE ALREADY HERE AND CAN'T GET ANYWHERE NEAR A HOSPITAL!?

It's a horrible scheme that not only destroys the immigrant's life (when they get here) but also robs the poor countries off of much needed talent.

Many people have hard time moving out because they have absolutely nothing to go back to, they sacrifice everything they had and worked for all their lives to come here and once they get here they take menial jobs to put food on the table, live in extreme poverty for life. Families are destroyed due to the financial strain.

they are fooling the people and we have to something about it!

right now there are ads running in Mexico telling potential migrants about the amazing opportunities awaiting for them in Canada. They took pics of Toronto with mixed people laughing and enjoying life as if that's the reality here!

It's time to stop Canada!
