The Beat Goes On

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Well, friends, I know I have not been actively posting lately, simply because I have been a bit busy with my family.

What's new, well, I got my flyers courtesy of one of my reader and she is also a blogger here.
The flyer is very nice and I will start distributing them in public places as early as tomorrow.
As expected, the reception to my idea was not encouraging. I have expected this any way, because like what I have said, people are always fast in condemning and forming a conclusion but never when it comes to call to action.
So far, nothing has changed and I am still pushing with my desire to form a watchdog group that is for the benefit of all immigrants of all colors.

And I am still calling all of you to share with me your ideas and thoughts.
We need to make a change. The society can't go on as it is now.
We cannot just sulk in one corner and accept that it is our fate to be what we are now in this country.
We need to open up this country so that equality in all levels can flourish. Choosing to be mum about all the hardships we suffer will only embolden those that treat us as a second class citizen even further.

I know that most of my reader have ideas as to how to make things work, share them to me if you don't want to be actively involve in this project.

And as usual, I am still lookin for more volunteers from different provinces of this country. If we can fast track this project, the better the result will be.

For all of you out there, look at your kids as they lay in bed at night, when they ask you why you work on menial jobs when you used to be an Engineer or a Doctor back in your country, ask yourself if there is a bright tomorrow for them in this country at the rate things are going, and if you think there is, then don't do anything at all. Otherwise, join me and let's work together for our future and those of our kids in this country.

More power!

Canada isn't worth fighting for, It's just that simple. The best and only thing to do is leave as many have done before us.

If that is the attitude, why come here on the first place? This is all about pride, principle and what is JUST...
We are not asking for what is not already a part of a democratic society.
I always hate it when someone is always willing to hang up their gloves before the bell has even rang. Especially if it is a fight worth fighting for.

Anonymous, this is exactly the mind-set that further aggravates the ills of this society. True, leaving Canada is an option. Count yourself lucky if you have the means to do so. But how about those whose hands are bound by the predicament rooted in the current immigration policies? This cause is for the common good, not only for current immigrants but also for the future wave of immigrants to this country.

Our common experiences as Canadian immigrants should bind us into channeling our energies into one cohesive force. This is not a one-man task. Nor is it a one-man’s search for what is fair and just. We share the same vision; we share the same voice and as one, should be heard… so that we can bring positive change. And consequently help others and us, flourish and affirm our roles as contributing members of this country.
