Been A while

Oh yeah, am back. I apologize to those that frequent my site looking for news and other issues in here. I have been quite busy moving to a new residence, and at the same time I kinda lost interest posting blogs, but am back and it's business as usual.

Well, let's see, what's new... Adrienne Clarkson will be retiring soon and she will be replaced by another minority. Her name is Michaelle Jean, a Haitian woman hailing from Quebec. Michaelle is also a CBC broadcaster hosting The Passionate Eye and Rough Cuts . She speaks 5 languages fluently including English, French, Spanish, Italian and Haitian Creole.
At a young age of 48, I am hoping that she will be more active in promoting the Minority Rights in this country as she herself had experienced first hand the difficulty that immigrants continously experience on a day to day basis in this country.
For now, I am putting my bets, that Michaelle will be there for all minorities, that I now see a dawning of new era and hope.

In other news and tibbits, I happened to notice this excerpt from The National Post..

"July 19, 2005 - National Post
90,000 seek redress from Ottawa for past wrongs: Discrimination, racism
The federal government is facing an avalanche of compensation claims from ethnic groups that believe they are victims of past racial wrongs, discrimination and prejudice. Documents obtained under the Access to Information Act show the federal government's potential exposure to demands for redress includes not only fairly well-known claims from Ukrainian and Chinese Canadians, but also Mennonites, Jehovah's Witnesses, Russians, Quakers and Turks."

It's about time. And I think lawsuits like these will certainly attract the attention of the International Community and expose what is a long hidden rotten agenda about the Canadian society and its govt.

I suggest that you continue to speak out...don't be a spectator. Voice your concern and opinion and demand a CHANGE.

Finally...for those of you that are interested in volunteer work and making a change, I am posting a link you all can visit and inquire as to how you can make a difference not only in your community but also to you and your loved ones.

Here is the site: http://www.ncvm.gc.ca/index.php

Until then...

Good to have you back.

I highly doubt the new Governor General's appointment would make much of a difference. She's chosen to be a face, fool people into thinking there's diversity in Canada. It makes absolutely no difference.
